Regular cleaning keeps a house running. A deep clean resets it.
It’s the work that gets skipped week to week: baseboards, door frames, the tops of things, the buildup in the corner of the shower you’ve stopped noticing. It takes longer, it goes further, and afterward the house feels different, not just tidier.
Most people book one of two ways: once in a while, when the house needs it, or as the first clean before regular service starts. Both are common. Either is fine.
What a deep clean covers
Everything in our regular house cleaning: kitchen, bathrooms, floors, dusting, glass, disinfecting. Plus the detail work:
- Baseboards, door frames, and trim
- Cabinet and drawer fronts, wiped down
- Light fixtures, ceiling fans, and vents
- A detailed bathroom scrub: grout, fixtures, and buildup
- Wall spot-cleaning and switch plates
- Detailed dusting, including blinds and window sills
Inside the oven and refrigerator aren’t part of a standard deep clean, but we’ll do them on request. Just ask when we come look and we’ll price it separately. Same with interior windows.
If there are certain areas you’re concerned about, tell us before we start and we’ll focus our efforts there. That’s how we work on every job.

When people book a deep clean
Before regular service starts, so the weekly or bi-weekly visits begin from a clean baseline.
Spring, or whenever the season turns.
Before company comes: holidays, family in town, a party.
After a renovation, or after a long stretch of nobody having time.
Questions we get a lot
Size and condition, same as any job, but a deep clean takes longer than a regular one, so it costs more. We come look first rather than quoting blind, and you get a real number before we start. No contract attached to it.
Regular cleaning maintains. A deep clean goes after everything underneath the maintenance: the trim, the fixtures, the buildup. It takes longer and costs more, and you don’t need it often.
We use eco-friendly alternatives wherever we can. If you have pets, just say so and we’ll use pet-friendly products.
Not much. If there’s anything we need you to handle ahead of the first visit, we’ll tell you when we schedule it.
